Sagit Amit Evan

Sagit Amit Evan is the founding partner of Amit Evan Law and a seasoned international corporate and transactional lawyer with deep expertise in cross- border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, commercial transactions, and securities offerings in both U.S. and Israeli capital markets. Before establishing the firm in 2019, Ms. Amit Evan practiced for many years at leading law firms in New York and Israel, advising on M&A transactions, IPOs and public offerings on Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, growth equity financings, and investments in emerging companies. She later served as a senior member of the international department at Gornitzky & Co., one of Israel’s premier law firms. She is known for her practical approach to negotiation and experience managing complex, multi jurisdictional transactions and her hands-on, partner-led approach. She remains directly involved in every stage of the transaction, from strategy and negotiation to drafting and execution, while drawing on a trusted network of legal professionals to build lean, agile teams tailored to each deal. In cross-border matters, she plays a central role in coordinating with local counsel and aligning multi-jurisdictional workflows to ensure seamless execution. Ms. Amit Evan holds an LL.B. and LL.M. from Tel Aviv University and an MBA, with distinction, from the New York Institute of Technology. Earlier in her career, as part of her military service, she served as a military prosecutor and later as legal advisor to the Chief of Staff, Lt. General Ehud Barak, attaining the rank of Captain. She currently serves on the boards of several public and private companies and is a lecturer and media commentator on corporate law, capital markets, and cross-border investments. She is admitted to the Israeli Bar, the New York State Bar, and is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
